The John H. Thweatt Archival Advancement Award recognizes achievement among archivists working in the state of Tennessee. The following are potential achievements that may be considered for nominations:
- Demonstrable contribution to archival theory or the development of new archival methods
- Service to the the profession through extraordinary committee or advocacy work
- Development of an archival program of such depth and scope as to warrant special recognition
The Thweatt Award is administered by the Awards Committee and presented at the Annual Meeting.
Eligbility
Nominees must be archivists or memory workers employed in archival repositories in the state of Tennessee.
